HP University Barcelona is a “best-in-class training” delivered to excellent fresh graduates coming from all Europe.
Through this program, you will be actively participating in different training modules (Business insight, soft skills, marketing techniques, etc), using your knowledge to real business cases from a global perspective and working directly with our printer engines and technological solutions.
This experience will give you the opportunity to gain a clear strategic vision of the printing market, while acquiring a deep knowledge of HP products & solutions at our international office located in Barcelona, Spain.

Labour market in Dalarna
There is a clear trend towards an increase in skills requirements in most sectors. This is due to the fact that companies need to replace many people who are retiring, and those now leaving the labour market are often well-educated and have a lot of work experience. Turnover in Dalarna’s labour market will continue to be high, and almost 25 000 people are expected to find jobs during the coming year.
Many of Dalarna’s companies are finding it difficult to get the right staff and unemployment is among the lowest in Sweden. During the year there will be shortages of personnel at all levels in nursing and healthcare, personnel with graduate skills in technology and building, and also some occupations with lower educational requirements.
In the coming year there will be extensive investments in new commercial areas, particularly in the central parts of the county. This will give rise to a strong demand for workers in commerce. Production in the building sector is declining, but companies are finding it very difficult to find building engineers and designers. There is great demand for people with managerial experience, such as site managers and heads of unit. There will be very good job opportunities for engineers in construction, mechanical engineering and electric power.

IBM SmartCamp
IBM celebra enguany la quarta edició del SmartCamp, una competició mundial d'emprenedors en la qual se seleccionarà la millor solució de base tecnològica alineada amb els objectius de l'estratègia Smarter Planet d'IBM. Aquesta iniciativa, emmarcada dins del Programa Mundial d'Emprenedors (IBM Global Entrepreneur), dóna suport a empreses de recent creació perquè portin a la pràctica els seus projectes i idees de negoci.

Beques per al Japó de la Canon Foundation in Europe
Anualment, la Fundació Cànon a Europa concedeix un màxim de 15 beques als investigadors europeus i japonesos qualificats. Els ciutadans europeus han de tenir la ciutadania permanent al país.
Els candidats han de tenir un doctorat o un títol de Màster. Són elegibles durant el període de deu anys després de la finalització amb èxit del seu doctorat o mestratge. Els becaris europeussol·liciten un període d'investigació al Japó, mentre que els becaris japonesos fan la seva investigació en institucions d'acollida a Europa. Les beques s'atorguen per períodes d'un mínim de tres mesos i màxim d'un any. Les beques es concedeixen amb independència de la disciplina i de llocs de treball existents.
Les sol·licituds es tancaran el dia 15 de setembre.
